Awards, Prize Money, and Medals

The Morgan Hill Marathon and Half medals are going to be made of high quality materials. They will be very heavy similar to the Rock and Roll medals. We also plan on having an engraver in the festival area to engrave your time if you choose.

  • Marathon - 1st through 3rd in each age group (5 year groups)
  • Half Marathon - 1st through 3rd in each age group (5 year groups)
  • 5k - 1 through 3rd in 10 year age groups.

You must be present for any awards. No mailing.

Do you want to carbo load on Friday or Saturday? We have two restaraunts in town all providing carbs for you! Maurizios and Mama Mia's will all be providing salads, pasta dishes, pizza, and other goodies for your needs. All for a special rate. Come socialize with other athletes on Friday and/or Saturday. Both restaruants will be serving roughly the same dishes. Reservations required. These will sell out quick!

Lifestyle EXPO and Packet Pickup

Centennial CenterThe Lifestyle Expo is open to the public and FREE of charge. The Expo is located in the Morgan Hill Centennial Center along with the packet pick up. You don’t have to be participating in the event to browse all the great wares that will be on display. You will find great prices on shoes, apparel, active gear and health care products – items you can use even if you’re not a runner. The Lifestyle Expo is open Friday October 31st from 1 pm to 6 pm and Saturday November 1st from 10 am until 5 pm. There is no same day registration but you can register at the Expo on Friday or Saturday.

View the Indoor Expo Booth Layout Visit over 20 Health, Fitness & Running exhibitors at the Morgan Hill Marathon Lifestyle Expo. Anyone interested can still register for any of the marathon events by attending the Expo. All participants must attend the Expo to pick up their race packet, race bibs, Bib-tag timing chips, technical shirts, and goodie bags.

Participant Registration/Packet Pick Up

Please pick up your race packets (bib, Bib Tag timing chip, technical shirts, cinch bag) at the Expo on Friday, October 31st from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm or Saturday, November 1st, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Morgan Hill Centennial Center / Main Gym.  

Please note: Each participant must attend the Lifestyle Expo and show their identification to pick up their own race bib, Bib Tag timing chip, technical shirt, and goodie bag. Friends and family of participants may pick up packets for the participant only if they have a copy of the person's ID .

Pacing for the Morgan Hill Marathon

After each group is situated in their start coral we will drop the ropes. This will be a one wave start with everyone going slowly through the start arch. We are scoring chip times. Time starts when you cross the start line.

Roads Affected

All roads listed below will have slow traffic during event hours. The actual event starts at 7:00 am and the course closes at 2:00 pm. Course coning and signing will occur from 4 am until course closing. Roads are not closed.

Roads earlier on the list are affected the shortest amount of time, for example West Edmundson Ave from 6:45 am until 7:30 am.
